This unique orbital head machine offers the ultimate flexibility for complex, high production CNC tube bending. Handling a range of tube diameters from 4.75 mm to 12 mm, the VR-12 is the perfect solution for automotive, truck, air conditioning and other complex bending applications. Tubular parts with fittings, coils, and hoses are easily produced on this innovative machine.

Patent pending design of the VR-12 incorporates rotation around the part shape with clockwise / counter-clockwise bending. Significant reduction in cycle time is obtained by simultaneous rotation of the bend head and tube. A lateral bend head shift motion enables bending parts having extremely short straights or fittings close to bends. The VR-12 is ideal for high production bending applications and commonly integrated with automatic loading and offloading devices, endforming equipment and complete automation cell configurations.

Eaton Leonard's NEW Lightspeed Windows based control compliments the VR-12's unique mechanical design. The Lightspeed control features 3D graphic rendering of the part shape, online help and tutorial features and a 15" high-resolution touch screen with icon driven software. It's open architecture, PC-based design incorporates commercially available hardware for maximum reliability and serviceability.
