NEW VB 80 HP Electric Bender
The latest addition to the Eaton Leonard family of CNC tube benders is the NEW VB 80 HP. Designed for maximum throughput and reliability, this advanced machine easily bends tubing through 80 mm (3.15") diameter. |
| The VB 80 HP incorporates electric servomotors on all three axes, including an 80 horsepower high torque servomotor to drive the heavy-duty bend arm. Throughout, the machine incorporates state-of-the-art features such as linear roller bearing on moving slides, massive components on the clamp slide actuator and quick-change single piece collets.
Several unique features for quick setup and enhanced throughput are available on this new machine. For instance, a dual mode self-calibrating pressure die automatically calibrates the pressure die setting for any centerline radius or pressure die reach. This feature also incorporates "soft touch" contact against the tube, preventing marking, even on thin wall, soft materials. A position-controlled pressure die feature is also available on the VB 80 HP. This feature uses closed loop servo positioning to match the velocity of the bend arm, in direct proportion to the pressure die assist slide for superior bend quality and repeatability.

New VR-12 Orbital Head Tube Bender
Designed for continuous high production bending, VR-12 bends tubing from 4.75 through 12 mm diameter. The perfect solution for automotive, truck, air conditioning and other complex bending applications, this unique machine accommodates tubes with fittings and hoses, as well as forming of coils. |
| This compact CNC tube bender utilizes five numerical axes for superior speed and flexibility. Patent pending design of the VR-12 incorporates rotation around the part shape with clockwise and counterclockwise bending. Electric power, without the use of hydraulics assures fast, clean and quiet operation. A vast assortment of automatic loaders is available for different bending applications.
Eaton Leonard's NEW Lightspeed control compliments the VR-12's unique mechanical design. Lightspeed incorporates a Windows NT-based graphical user interface with advanced programming and operational versatility.
