The latest series of endformers available from Eaton Leonard is ideal for automotive exhaust tubes and similar applications. This series, known as VF models includes single and multiple head machines for expanding, reducing, slotting, ram forming, piercing, sizing and cutoff. Eaton Leonard can also provide multi-head machines, endformers for special applications and cell machine configurations. |

VF SAM
These single action machines are designed for common endforming applications including tube expansion, reduction, slotting and piercing. VF SAM machines use segmented tooling consisting of expanding segments and reducing jaws.

VF SAE
This model is similar to the VF SAM and capable of the same operations, with the exception that the machine is equipped with a PLC control for added flexibility and quick setup.

VF RAM
VF RAM machines include all of the features of VF SAE models, but are also capable of performing axial operations such h as angular flaring, reducing, flanging, curling and beading. This model can be supplied with several operating stations, typically one for axially operating tools and the other station(s) for radial tools.

VF ORB
The model VF ORB can perform all of the functions of the VF SAM, as well as the ability to form annular beads using a rotary orbital motion. This method incorporates a rotating tool to follow a path of increasing eccentricity to form the required bead.

VF DA
The VF DA is used for precision sizing of tubes, and uses a combination of expanding segments and reducing jaws for accurate control of the Inside and outside diameters. These can be sequenced in any order for improved accuracy and reduced ovality. The VF DA incorporates a NC control for quick setup and file storage.

Small Tube Endforming Equipment
The E-Form is a CNC machine capable of endforming tubing from 3.17mm (.125") to 12 mm (.500") diameters. Designed for high production, this compact machine offers extreme flexibility and high reliability. A six-station turret unit enables immediate changeover of endform configurations for maximum versatility. The E-Form can be utilized in a cell environment for high productivity. |
